WHAT?

Democracia Real Ya Berlin invites you to participate in our first creative meeting. You will be an important part of the festive/cultural activity that we are preparing for Sunday, July 3rd in Mauerpark from 12pm. Let's enjoy a creative, stimulating and interactive Sunday together.

WHY?

Because we need other means to express ourselves. Transmission channels beyond words.

Because we internally need to unite and invigorate an illusionating spirit. To express good cheer among the components of DRY Berlin and co.

Because externally we should propagate, express, divulge and create links to motivate other people to participate in the movement in Berlin.

HOW?

Through arts, much imagination and creativity.

Suggestions:

-Realization of murals:

It is intended that artists and non artists of the movement DRY Berlin and people who supports it, all together do a mural theme linked to Democracia Real Ya or 15M.

Format/size is free. A wall mural is usually wall sized, so we'll tend to dimensions of more than a meter in both dimensions.

Materials:

About the materials, along this week people should act as they have Diogenes' syndrome. That is, pick up all the stuff they will see on the construction and others containers, like papers, cartons, woods, web's pieces and so on and keep it till Sunday to share it with the others artist.

Recycling material: cartons (e.g. ones for the eggs), webs, fabrics, woods, natural staff....just use your imagination!

Some paint: black, white, red, yellow....

Tools: cutters, scissors, tape...(just think in yours needs)

To help think in the banners have been made in Spain and others countries. The text's originality also could translate it in visual originality. Just think in some others cartoonists. Simple draws but really direct meaning. It is not necessary to create something really "cool" if the message itself is not clear because the picture is full of colours and many others things. Be realistic with the material, means and time we have.

Performing arts: Jam session, performance, open mic...

Regarding the music, who participate please use common sense and try to represent it along the afternoon while the murals are being painted

Vocal performance:

BBQ: during the event there will be food and drinks. To make this possible people should bring a barbecue, food, cubes with ices or some coolbags or fridges full of drinks.
